I started wanting 18's or 19's really didnt care. I went to Discount Tire Co. and they said 19's were a no go(back ordered till a undetermined date) and to go with 18's with a 45mm offset. Alright, no prob.
So that was the plan - I went back today(yesterday I guess as it is now 1am here) to order my rims. I was so freaking happy it was finally time and the guy called Tenzo to place the order and they were freaking sold out of the 18x8 45mm offset till a undetermined date. Yay!
So the Discount guy that has helped me the last few times talked to the Tenzo guy and basically Tenzo is going to send out 18x8's with a 37mm offset. My man at Discount is going to put them on to see if they will fit or not and if they don't I don't have to pay a dime.
I know you guys know a lot about wheels and tires so I'm going to ask - Will a 18x8 with a 37mm offset work? I have no intentions of dropping my car. It's alright if its flush with the wheel well so long as it doesn't rub and I don't want it to stick out far and look ghetto.
I searched the Altima forums and got noting back on 37mm so I made a post.
Oh I just went down to 35mm doing my search and it returned this thread
post5572294.html?hilit=35mm#p5572294 I don't want to thread rez so I'm still going to post this. I think I know the answer, they will work, but can someone confirm.
Thanks!
Ross
