Yesterday on Oct 18th, we had a regional NICO meet.

It was one of our very best meets!.Even though we have had meets with more attendence such as the March 18th meet this year, which was huge, I really liked this one.

Most of our NICO meets seem to be dominated by one type of car or another, but this meet was very different as we had a mix of numerous cars different from each other.

Here is the list of cars with drivers in order of sign-in.

-Fred aka palmerwmd w/ a 1994Q45t (hunter Green with sahara beige interior)

-Wes aka elwesso w/ a 1994Q45 (burgundy,)

-George aka GeoBau with a 2003.5 G35 Sedan w/ the 5A transmission (Black exterior, EDIT: willow interior)

-Bud aka Cold Zero w/ a 2003 WRX.

-Lucy (a Black lab), with a 2k2 icelandic Pearl Altima.

-Keith aka Rex, with a 1994 Q45, a truly bentleyesque car, SuperBlack over a gorgeous charcoal interior, nicely offset by the golden Infiniticlock.

-Darrin aka Forte, with a 2004 G35 Coupe w/ breathtaking carribean Blue pearlescent Paint.

-Ryan aka rydwht with a 2003.5 G35 Laser Red Coupe

-Cullen Jones aka cullenj76 who came with a real nice white over charcoal leather Maxima with the 5M transmission

-Matt aka audatious in a 2k2 Maxima with a nice twilight blue color the 4A transmission and many tasteful mods.

-Tim aka groundhog1976, who singlehandely upheld the 240SX flag, with his laser red S13, 5M transmission.

-Raceen aka Str8Ridin with a <very> nice black 1997 Maxima with nice wheels and otehr assorted mods.

-Jared aka Maxima Balla with a 1993 Maxima with an attractive chamapgne gold paint job.

-Matt aka 99whiteSE with a (you guessed it) 99 white SE maxima, also in near flawless shape.

-Christine aka g35girl here on NICO with a 2003 G35 Sedan SuperBlack with grey (?) interior.

-Angela Lambert with a 1993 G20 ( but rode with groundhog 1976)

-Dave, aka Davey 2003 who came all the way from Chicago to show us his breathtakingly beautiful 2003 G35 Diamond Graphite Coupe with the 6M transmission and the Brembo brake package. The Name Diamond Graphite does not do that color justice. Its seems like a combination of Matte Pearl German Silver mixed with a tint of Champagne Pearl Gold over a base of light graphite.

-Andy aka repoman with an Ivory pearly Quartz Caddy CTS.

-Dane with his Black over charcoal leather 2k2 Altima 3.5SE

I am sure this list of cars wetted many NicoNauts appetite for pics which will be forthcoming shortly

The only cars which we missed to have been complete meet, would have been Cory' s Silver SPEC V and a swapped 240SX to complete us.

But Cory's absence can be excused: Cory aka OneFastStanza was at a Car show in Clarksville and won his class!!

Congrats to Cory!..:bowdown.

More to follow:

Great seeing the listing Fred.....You forgot to mention the Louisville pre-meet where you were smelling oil ;)

Great meet. Loved seeing the great mixture of vehicles that attended and the nice age group mixture.

Couple of notables:

1. Food was great. Thanks to the girls for cooking and Matt ( 99whiteSE ) for loaning some clean pliars to flip the weenies with.

2. Maturity level was awesome. It's nice being out and not having people doing burn outs or totally acting crazy

3. Weather could not be better altho I did get a little red

Sorry I missed out on the post-meet festivities. Maybe next time ;)

Had a blast-- can't wait to meet up with everyone again!

PS. Fred-- the color of the interiors for the G is called "Willow" leather with titanium trim. It's somewhat like a "Lexus-esque" tan. It's a pain to keep clean, but when it is, it's booty-ful :ylsuper: I'll try to upload some pics. I actually uploaded some exterior photos to my Rides section. woohoo!

I just got the pics back, and they turned out really well. I'm gonna start scanning them tonight after all my backyard chores are done. The shots of the 6-speed, Brembo-equipped G turned out particularly well.

Yeah it was great......

It was better than I was expecting, and when I was going I thought I would be somewhat left out, seeing that I was the youngest guy there...... Not the case, and it was golden......

And Fred, you forgot about Rex's Q..... It was BENTLEY-ESQUE...... :D

I've got about a dozen pics from the meet. I d/led them this morning, so they're ready to go. Where would you recommend I host them? I don't want to make 12 individual replies with 12 uploads... any recommendations on good sites?

Eh, I have to make them smaller than 300x300, and I don't like the quality. I'll get it done, though :pface
