can i do it, or too many problems to make the change??

They fit great. You have to "rewire" you horn button because it will be a little different on the Type X. I mounted my cruise control buttons under the steering column so I could keep the cruise control. There is a write up on that somewhere on here.

Mine is Leather and is MUCH better than the OEM POS
