that lip is soooo expensive, but it does make the car. Don't scrape it or you'll be hating life.

I'm going to scrape mine on the first day I paint it.I won't hate life.I'll know that my car looks better than 95% of the cars on NICO.

why would you scrape it the first day you paint it?

Because my car won't have 3 inches of gap between the fender and tire like other people.

well the scraping is gonna happen, my jdm bumper is all scraped up and I'm not even dropped that much, but I still hate it when it does scrape. I take every precaution to avoid dips and whatnot.

But you should wait at least a full day before you put your painted lip on, I'd wait at least 2 days sitting in the sun placed near some heat in a well ventilated area. The paint is not completely dry on the first day and it will be less resistant to rock chips

No can do.I'll use it on the first day.

I drove my 14 home right after we painted it.

Doubt I'll be scraping. The lip only adds about a 1/4". And with my Sportlines, I didn't scrape the bumper itself, so I don't think it should be a problem. Nevertheless, I'mma B real careful going over speed bumps and driveways.

I'll pass on dropping the car more. I'm happy with the current drop. And besides, I wouldn't want to B worrying about the body components anymore than I already do. And the tires are actually aligned to ZERO (Pretty hard to get positive camber on a car with a 2" drop).

maybe they are rare? Apparantely manufacturing cost isn't an issue if the whole bumper is cheaper than the lip itself

Beats me.

They are pretty hard to come across.

Gotta pay to play.

someone should buy a lip and make a fiberglass mold cuz it might be cheaper to melt down the jdm bumper and use the plastic to make a few on your own lol

There already is a Fiberglass version of the lip available here in California.

I could have got probably 3 of them for the price of the OEM one, but why bother?

Was down at West Covina Nissan last week and they just got a new shipment of Lips in. So, for those of you looking for lips, ask for Ray in parts. He said he'd beat Performance Nissan pricing. Just a heads up.
