i picked up the 180sx front turn signals for my 92 coupe. half amber half clear, on ebay. the ad said they pluged right in so i was assuming they came with the harness that plugs into the us harness and splits it into two bulbs. well i was wrong.... so now i basically have my normal turn signals and no bulb jack for the driving light part and no harness to power it.

what car has a jack that will fit the driving light part of the assembly? or better yet... is there a place that i can buy that harness from?

Did you buy these new at all?

Mine (purchased from askme4parts off Ebay a few years ago) were plug and play.

No i got mine used, they are oem and in good condition but didnt come with the harness. My car has the jack to plug the turn signal in but nothing to plug into the driving light part of the assembly.

IF you are creative enough, and IF you can find the appropriate size bulb sockets to go into the light housings, and IF you have a simple understanding of how the lights operate you can wire them up yourself.

Some wire cutters, solder (electrical tape if you absolutely must) and the right pigtails, you can knock 'em out in a matter of minutes. I believe one bulb runs an individual power wire (constant), the other runs the high (flasher), and both share a common ground. If that made any sense to you, the hardest part will be finding the right sized sockets.

Just buy new ones, they are 40 bucks for a set. Wiring comes on them, and they will be a direct plug and play then.

Where is hatfield compared to bethlehem. Now that I think about it I may have a broken set of 180sx turns with harness still attached.

Mine were plug n play. Perhaps just use the stock harness and splice the wires for the running light?

The problem is not so much the harness as the bulb sockets themselves. The JDM lights are going to be smaller single prong bulbs as opposed to the larger 2 prong bulbs our cars have. Keep that in mind while looking through the salvage yards.
