electrical tape should be fine, since it doesnt see any water. just twist them together good.daniel88c wrote:Hi. Shrinktubing? What is that?
Oh yeah and if I do get wire crimps, do I just cut both connectors off and just... man I'm so lost I don't even know what wire crimps are. Are crimps the connectors? Can I just buy connectors?
But then the electrical tape should have no problems right?
Thanks,Daniel

it should be fine, tell me how it goes. if you need help LMKdaniel88c wrote:Hi. Oh I see. Well since electrical tape should be okay then I think I'll just do that then. So much more simplier than everything else.
Unless any one else comes up with any new ideas.
Well I mean is it possible to buy the 180SX connector so I can just cut the US one and put that one on? So I mean if I do take it out and sell it again, I have the original connectors.
Thanks,Daniel

just shrink tube it .. and then electrical around the outside of the tubing.daniel88c wrote:Hi. Wait wait, anything BUT electrical tape? What?
Thanks,Daniel
kamikazestorm has the right idea, what I meant was if you use electrical tape as your main method of holding the wires together, they aren't going to insulate well enough and if you have any of the traditional S13 leaks you could fry something.daniel88c wrote:Hi.
