180SX Tail light bolt-on?

Will genuine JDM 180sx taillights from a 95 180sx bolt up to a 1992 240sx hatch? Any special bracketing or electrical work needed?

yes, but you can't just buy the lights. You need the center panel, the finishing panel underneath, and a new lock and key. The reason is that the lights are shaped different (new center panel) and they stick farther out (longer lock).

Also, oftentimes used conversion kits don't come with the lock and key. : )

OK thanks- now, is the new lock and key made specifically for the 180sx taillights? Where can I find one of those?

goto enjukuracing.com they have everything you'll need. If you get it from clearcorners.com, they do the wiring for you so it is plug and play. (can you say that about cars?)

I have them on my 93 and I got them from courtesy nissan in texas for 614 shipped. That included both lights, center panel, lower filler panel, lock, keys, and seals. I can find them any cheaper- brand new. And basically you need all that stuff because its all different. If you used the american filler panel underneath you would have a nasty gap because the lights stick out farther than the US ones.
