hey whats up? i just have a question thats bugging me cand cofuses the hell out of me.

in japan our s13 240 coupe is a silvia and has the fixed lights and diffrent front end, our s14 240 is the same as the japan s14 silvias and the s13 240sx hatch is a 180sx in japan. why then sometimes on japanese websites do they have our s13 coupe with the pop up head lights and its called a 180sx??? thanks

USDM S13 hatches = JDM 180sx. USDM S13 coupes are dubbed the "one-vias" b/c the 180sx front and Silvia rear, as opposed to the "Sil-eighty" with the Silvia front and 180sx rear. I don't think they have "one-vias" in Japan, if you're looking for aero parts on a S13 coupe, unless you do the Silvia conversion, you need to get 180sx front bumper, hood and fenders, either sides should work, and Silvia rear bumpers. However, I'm not sure because I have a zenki So don't take my word for it, get some confirmation.

were Sileightys or Onevias ever offically produced and sold by Nissan in Japan, or are they both the result of people swapping fronts?

how long was the CA18DET sold in the 180SX? I wonder why Nissan never changed the name to 200SX (like Europe) when the SR20 came out.

btw, someone please post a picture of s12. I've never seen one before (at least i dont think so)

I think the CAs came in the 89-90. I assume this b/c the 240 had the KA24E those years. Because of the popularity of the SilEighty conversion being done from drifters, Nissan of Japan made a few official SilEightys. They came with more a couple extra hp and a few other things like stronger internals I believe and are VERY rare. I think the number of official SilEightys are in the hundreds. S12 is the USDM Sentra from the eighties, don't exactly know which years.

dude who cares. maybe their webpage is wrong. maybe the car just looks like it has a coupe rear but its actually a hatch. maybe its onevia and they only mean to say 180sx front aero. it dosent matter

for one thing i care and wtf are you doing in this thread if you dont?? also iv seen it from a direct side shot and its a coupe with our 240 front end and is right hand drive, iv seen it one a few web sites so my point is wouldnt it have to be a car that was sold in japan??? why would they have our s13 240 coupe, a car that wasnt even sold there on their sites??? and why is it right hand drive and labled 180sx???

sileighty was not produced by nissan, rather, kids heart of jdmland. limited run of 500.

onevia was created by tooooogay people who like to rape parts off of one gay car and put them on another gay car to make super gay cars.

if someone has a picture of a 'coupe' with a 'popup' front end and they call it a 180SX, it's probably someone from drifting.com forums who doesn't know d!ck about d!ck.
