a jdm 180sx rhd just sold on ebay (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...=6396) but it had a sr20 not a ca18, i thought that it should have a ca18 or were all hatches called 180s, sorry for the dumb question but just trying to learn

all the hatches were 180sx. i think that the 89-90 had the ca while the the later ones had the sr, with the culmination being the 180x. i could be wrong on those dates.

that is correct midwest. the CA18DET where short lived after the introduction of the SR20DET.
