Hey everyone

I recently picked up a 1991 180sx with an SR20DE.. the car always had trouble starting cold but after it had run for a little while would start up everytime. After parking it for the night I try to start it the next day and it only cranks.. I've tested the plugs and there is no spark, cleaned up the distributor and rotor arm and replaced the condenser but, still no spark. The battery has charge and is putting out 12v and all the fuses are intact. I'm not sure what to check, not the most knowledgeable about cars either, I'd appreciate any help. Thanks!

Hi and welcome to NICO Club! You probably knew you'd need a knowledgeable mechanic when you bought this car, so now is probably the time to take it there. Or, you can learn a bit and filter through the instruction book known as the FSM. Check out the links here and see if you can find what you are looking for. We don't have the 180sx exactly as we are primarily a US domestic market, but we have 240sx and some engine swap info.
