Hey guys! I recently found a link with a full 180sx tailight conversion on an s13, unfortunatley I lost the link. I was hoping someone can enlighten me about how much a silvia front end conversion and silvia tail light conversion would cost me roughly. And the diffuculty of it. I've been googling all day trying to find that link again but to no avail. I remember the tailights looked really fresh and 3-d, bubbles kinda where the light was it bulged out. Anywho, thanks again for everything!

Front end: ~$1000Tail lights: ~$500Tail lights I believe is fairly straight forward, but the front end would be somewhat tougher. You could do it yourself but you might want to get a reputable bodyshop to do it to make sure it is done right.

there is a little piece that goes below the lights and above the bumper that you will have to paint, other than that it shouldnt be too hard. You'd have to paint the silvia conversion as well. Are you going with the 180sx Kouki tail lights? (the 3d bubbly looking ones) If so, i'd suggest getting the 180sx Kouki Wing and putting that on, then sand and surface prep the whole car and get a paint job. *drooling at the thought* Quite a few pieces you need to paint anyway, might as well go all the way, fill in every dent and sand out all the chips and scratches.

I got my front end for $615 from the Aussie site in my sig, but no headlights... got those for $165 on E-bay. If you want I can hook you up with that guy. Mounting brackets came with the headlights. Only $40 bucks...

Which puts you at just over $800. That is pretty close to $1000, and you pieced yours together yourself. Anyway, most shops I've seen offer the conversion and install for $1000-1500, depending on other factors like paint, etc.

Rockenreno--

How much was shipping?

Also, the 240 is a 92' SE fastback... I think the 180sx Type-X wing would compliment it nicely. =P

the front end conversion isn't hard to do, it's just bolt on, i'm pretty dam sure it's simple as bolting on the kouki lights..... of course if you don't have knowledge of body panels, probably it is best for someone else to do it......

Who me? I kinda got a break as far as shipping cause I bought my RB25DET clip and the front end at the same time :D If you get a few people who are interested together, you might get a break. Maybe...

It took me 2 1/2 hours to fully convert my 240 to silvia lights. Its just bolts and patience. Make sure you get everything though! like the clips that hold the center grille in place and all the wires for the lights.

Do those kouki lights come standard on 240s in japan? and if so why are they so expensive?

They're not so expensive. Go to your nissan dealer and buy a whole tail light set for a 240sx, then ship that to Japan and see how much it costs you.
