Hello guys, I'm thinking about starting a sileighty project and I was wondering any reconmendations to buy parts from and what will i exactly need to do this conversion. I've seen the conversion kit on ebay but I don't trust ebay for stuff like that. I know that i will need s15 fenders, bumper, hoods, Lights, and hood? And will all these parts fit right on or do i have to make it fit? Sorry if you guys can't fully understand what im typing I just have alot of questions in my head right now and is willing to learn more.I kind of want the project to look like the 1990 sileighty on superstreet witj the vq35 motor in it.(we can do that now)OK LETS NOT GET TOO AMAZED!!!(hahahah)

well technically, its a sileighty since the front end is off an S15 silvia. its just common to associate "sileighty" with the S13 front end on a 180sx.

not too many people use the term "strawberry face" anymore.

Shut your face, fool!At least it bolts right on and matches the lines, the S15 on S13 looks like yuck.

S15 does not bolt on to S13 front anyway. You have to buy a aftermarket conversion kit to make it work.

You will need those parts and I suggest the S15 radiator support. It makes things a little easier. I suggest buying from Extreme Dimensions they are good people. Searching would also have done you a big favor with this question.

You will most likely have to work them just a bit like with all body modifications.

What is that supposed to mean?

Intense Motorsports sells a Origin conversion kit, as well as some of the OEM parts.

You guys are really on this guy huh. The S-15 front end on the S-13 body is so sexy. Buy the front end parts and then the kit online and u need help I'll give u a hand. I have already done two front end swaps. The S-13 front is way easier but the S-15 is the hottness.

Not to threadjack, but this is something that you will probably want to know to...

Can I use a aftermarket front bumper that was made for a S15? I am going to get the conversion fenders, conversion hood, and S15 radiator support so the rest is good. Can I do this? Just on a side note this is the bumper that I am wanting to use: http://i-m-racing.com/cs15gta-fbfr.html

I already posted this in the Newbie, but so far no answers.

a local guy tried to s15 front end his s13 and didnt get the s15 rad support. when he cut the stock rad to make the lights fit and the rad support just twisted.

dattebayo, yur sig isnt exactly right for #2 its not technically mr, its considered front mid engine. my fc is and so is the g35 and 350z (say front mid engine under the hood even) as well as a few other cars

Why is everyone so hung on ugly Strawberry conversions? OneVia are the best conversion and there's plenty of proof for that, including S-13 240SX coupe and S15 with 180sx front.

the only "true" onevia would be a silvia with a 180sx front end.

seeing how coupe 240's came like that from the factory in america, its not really a onevia.

however the s15 with the popups is damn sexy.
