180sx s13 sr20det engine removal

g'day folks

im about to remove my engine tomorrow, all accessories pumps lines, wireing looms etc is all unplugged,

ive loosened off the 2 engine mount bolts and im leaving the engine mount attached to the chassis (metal bracket will still be connected to the engine)

im just wondering, from here is it as simple as disconnecting the tailshaft and the gearbox crossmember and then it should come out ?

im leaving the 5spd box attached to the engine

can the engine be removed with the gearbox crossmember still attached ? im upgrading to a solid gearbox mount so i thought perhaps just leave the crossmember attached

Yeah engine and trans can be yanked together.... Usually only takes a few hours from start to finish.

Engine/transmission Should be easily pull together, if that's all you have left it'll come out in a matter of 20 mins! GL!
