180sx Kouki Taillight bottom piece

I have a question about that piece, the piece below the center garnish. When I purchase the 180sx kouki taillights, it's usually sold in 4 piece, do I really need that piece or will the piece I already have with my car work?

JDM kouki light are more rounded campared to the usdm. you maight be able to grind it down. I pull the stock one out and gave the shop both piece to get painted. it was only $50 with no down time.

jus wanna show some pics of my fail kouki lights and how the gap looks.

While installing the lights i notice that i was sent 2 right tail lights. I'm not saying no names unless they don' t switch it out for me.

Here the pic that will keep me going for alil longer..........
