Hi hey I'm new. Lurked for a while.

I'm in Japan and have a 180sx. I have 2 main problems right now.

I bought the car knowing a few things were wrong. Currently I'm having an issue with the passenger rear caliper locking up. I just replaced the pads and the caliper looks like it was smoked. It doesn't release when I let the down the ebrake. I pushed the piston back farther but noticed it was tough to turn it. I'm waiting to board the ferry for a drift event and am limited to what I can do.

(also my tail light are f*** up. Not too worried but the blinkers don't work for one side. The wiring from the previous owner is disgusting and I don't know which wire is which)

Replace the caliper. I don't know what the user end parts purchasing situation is like in Japan (like we have parts stores like Advanced Auto, O'Reilly's, etc), but someone should offer a remanufactured caliper.

As for the lights, you're correct in that it's probably in the butchered wiring somewhere. Best I can tell you to do is to grab a service manual from the link at the top of any NICO page and get to tracing. We don't have a JDM wiring manual, but the USDM one should be good to go on the chassis wiring.
