I had Japanese mechanics telling me that I could not do the very same thing with my CA18DET Silvia.
I had seen someone attempt putting in the digital control and they gave up. All they had was the controller. No wiring except what was already in their CA18DET 180.
Mechanics told me no deal. I thought bull****...has to beable to be done.
First SR powered S13 I found with the digital control I grabbed it and the ENTIRE wiring harness for the AC control.
There was really only one difference between the analog and digital. All the connections fit in to each other and there was on black wire that I could not locate it's destination in the donor car.
I grounded it out, and figured what the hell.....fired it up and it worked. turned out the grounded wire was for the memory function. So instead of the AC being set where I had it when I turned the car back on, I had to reset the temperature and fan controls....big deal.
Not too familiar with the differences in the 240 (like if you guys have the AUTO climate control sensor or not) but I think it should be able to work. To some degree at least. I think that the control will handle what your car can do and that there will be no problems if you don't have the auto climate gear.
Good luck with it. But I highly recommend that you get the entire wiring harness. Might make life much easier.
