sorry if you took it as an insult dude. i guess i should have been more specific. i just found a great deal on some stock 180sx tails and wanted to know if they looked any different from the 240sx. i thought the 180sx had circles on the housings but i wasn't sure.

thanks

The twin circles appeared on the newer gen 180SX tails. The older ones from the early 90's looked exactly like the 1989-1993 FB tails except for the 180SX instead of a 240SX which is what KA was refering to before you called him a retard. And no there isnt an awe inspiring difference on the outer housings. Just the pride of knowing it is JDM.

Can anyone tell me what the plastic part that holds the screws/ wires/ bulbs together? Mine have a problem of overheating and melting around the screws, so I need to either get a new set, or move up another screw length.

Thats kinda weird, if you try to order a new piece im sure you can just describe it to someone at a junkyard or dealership. Is there any of that black butyl sealant left? It might be the black sealant that is melting.
