I've thought about trying to make some sort of gizmo to do that, basicly just have to output 1 pulse for every 1.6 input pulses, or rather output 5 pulses ever 8 input pulses.. a faster acting method would be to flip flop outputting 3 and 2 pulses every 4 pulses.. or even in sequence of 8 pulses input output on the first three, skip one, then 1, skip 1, 1, skip 1, repeat (would be smoothest). that should work I'd think, unless my half-asleep math is all wrong
hardest thing would not be programming some simple code in a device to do it but to actually find a device that likes unregulated 12V

(which is doable, I'm just saying its harder than the coding, relatively speaking)
