Has anyone modified their gauge cluster so that the jdm speedo reads in mph?

i am trying to do this right now...i have the 180sx gauge cluster...there is a variable resistor you have to adjust but it may have to be replaced with a resistor with more resistance....i will have pictures soon...hopefully tommarrow

Yeah that was what I was thinking, divide speed signal by 5/8... Post up pics and let us know how it goes.
