180 gets a beatin!!!

So I'm minding my own bussiness driving around the island yesterday burning time till I pick up a friend of mine at work. I usually just cruise by the coast and enjoy the ride, well not today. Mr. I have a bada$$ 180, seems content in ruining my relaxation. I sware just cause your driving a Skyline with an american plate means you must love drag racing. Not that I don't, but I'm just cruisin here. So this fag keeps making his really cool BOV go pshh pssh. What a F&F got rice thing to do. After about 5 times we finally arrive at a light.

I don't even know what mods this guy has, all I see is a FMIC and exhaust. But I figure he's only runnin a torqueless SR(hehe), with some boost. I give the gas a couple quick stabs to let him know that he's about to get the smack put down. You guys know how the rest goes, green light....we both launch...blah...blah. Well I'm pretty good at slipping the clutch and coming on boost so I pretty much just leave him looking cool in his own tire smoke. I burn through 2 gears and grab 3rd...I figure what the hell, down goes the window and I start waving my hand for him to catch up. As he's about to over take me I simply let my foot off the brake and my motor is still on boost, so he pulls just ahead only to get passed again.

Well this poor guy can't believe he just lost to an RB20. He follows me to Lawsons(shoppette). We compare mods and he's actually got a pretty decent setup. SDS standalone with a dyno tune, running 1.3 bar. Not bad, turns out he's a really poor driver. But he can't believe I'm running stock injectors, MAF, ECU and internals.

I said "yee of little faith" Then I simply pointed to the Alky injection...and 2 bar of boost setting on the BC.

Just thought I'd jump in here for a little SR bashing...heh.

Hey now, if you could get RB's for 200 bucks, you wouldn't care if you blew them up running crazy boost either. Meggala and I have been comparing notes for the last couple of years. He knows a great deal about the old RB series.

Hey, atleast I wasn't posting about a KADET powered 240 killing an SR. Although that will come soon enough, oh and your on the list by the way...heh.
