$180,000 2jz camero

V8 240sx? Sure! If either the chassis OR the engine is non-Nissan (i.e. SR20 in an RX-7 or LS1 in a 240sx), we've done it.

That thing is so clean, reminds me of the Mustang from F&F3 with the RB26 in it. I'd take the 'Stang if I had to choose one to drive everyday, this Camaro belongs in a museum.

Funny because the other day when I took my side skirts tot he shop to get painted I saw a LS1 in a JDM MK4 Supra. Car is a drift car only, it was a JDM inport front a rear clip that they put back together.

Very nice car all around but i like how they compare a 2jz to a v8...lol nothing will ever make power like a v8 period. i always fought back and forth with people and how 4 bangers and 6 cylinder engines are the s*** til i realize how much power v8s really can make. when you can get a 2jz to push a top fuel rail car down the strip in 4 seconds lmk. that motor doesnt belong in that nestalgic of a car. just my opinion

Meh...it depends what that camaro started out as. Not all 67-69 Camaro's are equal. I DOUBT it started its life as a Yenko. So that being said...if it was org. an automatic w/ a 350 then do whatever you please...because in the scope of things, fully restored they arent worth terrible ammounts of money. Now, on the other hand, if it was a Stock Stickshift, SHAME ON THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!

1. That's not really a fair statement considering the V8's used in top fuel cars are not standard domestic V8's. They are completely custom built, high displacement, V8's.

2. It most likely can be done, but they won't allow it. (they might have changed the rules to allow it, but I haven't heard of it yet)

3. A group built a 4 cylinder funny car that was built to make 5-6 second runs. It was a completely custom built 4.8 liter 4 cylinder, twin turbocharged, producing 4,000 horsepower.
