ok, now i know the first thing thats going to happen is im going to get bashed for"not" using the search botton (which i did) but anyways. I am going to get some 18" wheels. So i was wondering what your opinions on the staggered look of 18x9.5 with eiter +12/22 in the front and 18x10.5+22 in the back or non-staggered 18x10.5+22 all the way around. If i go with 18x9.5+12and 18x10.5+22 i was going to get 225/40 and 235/40, im not sure if the same tire would work for teh +22 in the front. And for NS i was going to get 255/35 all around. Now which of these choice will let me slide with no mods to the body and without camber becasue i really dont underrstand that (if you want to explain it to me and how to do it w/o getting arms or whatever) and plus what give the best look and performance for daily driving; staggered or non. thank you and i greatly appreciate teh help in advance

btw: i have a 1991 300zx TT so its a 2 seater- not sure if this helps

I doubt you could fit any of those options without at least rolling your fenders.

Staggered vs square is up to you and you alone...of course staggered promotes understeer (more rubber in the back, less up front) but it might be good for your car if you have issues putting your engine's power to the pavement. If you want more traction in the back then go staggered. The looks, well staggered looks great, and so does square. That is totally up to you. Staggered is aggressive looking, but square can be as well.

ok thank you i kinda had the feeling that tehwheels would be up to me but abt the wheel sizes fitting, do you think a roll would be it or would i also have to do other mods? i just want the one with the less mods possible. thanks once again and more help is welcome

Ok im running Ruff Racing R930 wheels, 18x8.5 in the front and 18x9.5 in the rear. Tire wise I'm running Goodyear Eagle F1's with 245/40 in the front and 285/35 in the rear (im not 100% sure on the height number) with no rubbing or problems and no body mods

in my opinion, staggered always looks sick. but if its a dd, it could be considered more practical to have rotational sizes (all the same). i have staggered and i love the look, but i sometimes wish i could rotate to make my tires last a little longer and healthier. i have 225 in the front 265 in the rear. small front lip huge rear lip on tsw thruxtons just looks so amazing. like i said, my opinion.

i bought the wheels used so idk the offset. sorry for no help there. i also dunno how to measure the offset on my own

Close to what you are looking for and required a roll on lowered suspension, if you are stock height you can pull off a little bit different setup without rubbing but imo it will look a little mexi. Just sayin, but check that site for a setup close to what you want and look in the notes at the bottom off the page. It will usually tell you what fender mods need to be done to fit.

I suggest doing more research on size and offset before buying anything especially if you want to dd the car. and a 235 on a 10.5 wheel? :barf:
