18" Wheel upgrade question

I'm looking at getting a set of 18" GTS-MEGA chrome wheels. The specs are 5x100/114.3 with a 40 offset and they are 18"x7.5".

I would like to put 235/45/18" tires on these rims.

Will the 235s fit on the rim (7.5 width) and if so will the fit on my 3.5 SE coupe without any rubbing due to the extra 20 mm thickness of the tires?

Finally has anybody got any info on GTS-MEGA rims good or bad before I purchase them?

Any help would be appreciated.

It is highly doubtful that you will have rubbing problems from a 40mm offset and 235-series tires. FWIW, Nissan runs 245's on 7.5" rims from the factory (Maxima).

I agree with Matt, but it's hard to say for sure without knowing the factory wheel offset.

Does anyone know the OEM coupe wheel sizes and offsets?

They are probably 17x7 w/45mm. Confirmation would be a good thing tho.

The price is good, I just have never heard anything about the brand. I was hoping someone had experience with GTS wheels could give me their feedback, Good or Bad.

The AC OEM spec is 17x7.5 +45 offset.

Running 235s on a 7.5 wheel with a +40 offsett will only stick out less than a 1/2 inch from the wheelwell. Shouldn't have any problems what so ever.
