Hi All,I bought a new set of 18" chrome wheels for my 97Q, however,I should have asked if anyone is running 18's and are they happy with the. As I said I have the wheels, now i'm looking for the tires. Can anyone tell me whats the best size tire for the 18" wheels? I do a lot of highway driving (250 miles a day) and I dont want to loose that nice comfy ride. But i will sell the 18's and go back to the 16's if i'm gonna loose my comfort. thanks all dagovna:confused:

downsides: a little increase of road feel (some would say harshness), and increased unspring weight.

it has the answers to all your sizing questions.

Always consider the strength differences betweem oem wheels [which are designed to last 60-100k] and aftermarket which are for the most part - looks.

Beyond the above learned comments, consider load carrying capacity in the appropriate (stock) overall diameter tire and cost in the desired V+ speed ratings. Wear indes is important also; higher = harder, not better.

forged wheels are a good way to hedge against the considerable possibility dennis noted about inferior strength characteristics of aftermarket wheels in general.

brian is right, tire load index cannot be stressed enough.
