Stock Rims/spacers or tires??

After looking at finances, rims are out for a little. Im gonna powdercoat my 08 stock se rims black cause my car is black.

Now the question is what you guys thinks looks better on the rim....matte black or gloss. Keep in mind my car is blacked out.....

Also, on another note...with my stock 17's having a 45 offset..... I still wanna do something bout that. What do you guys think....change the tires from 215/55/17 to 225/55/17.....or by spacers to push them out a little...or both????

Also....if i go the spacer route do i need to get the fronts different from the back to make it look right?
