Hey all,

Question for those who run 18's.....

How did it affect the car? as in ride, acceleration etc... I know it will have an adverse effect, I just want to know how much.....

I can get a really good deal on some rims that I love, but I'm afraid its not worth the possible negatives.

I ve run 17's on 40 series on another car I was find with it, but its a different car.

I ll be lowering it, (KYB AGX and Eibach Prokits)Thinking of running 225/40 front 235/40 rear..

Thanks for your thoughts...

Cheers

just go and buy them... they don't effect it much at all..IF tha's what you want.. it's not going to matter much

I love how my car felt after i got my 18's, they weigh the same as most 16's though.

I just put a set of fatboy 18s on that I got cheap off of ebay. Weights were 21 lbs. front and 23 lbs. rear. The performance difference was immediately noticeable. Mostly in braking. My Z32 brakes just don't have the bite that they did before, due to the big increase in rotating weight. The wheels do look good, but they'll be going in favor of some lighter 17 inchers.

Thanks very much for your replies!

Thats too bad, those rims look VERY nice on your car.... nice pic BTW

one more question if I may, did the lower profile tires affect the car's tail happiness?(more happy or less happy) or handleing?

THanks again!
