Several months ago we replaced the VB after receiving a code we had a bad sensor. It drove just fine for months then suddenly started doing what in a regular trans would be called slipping around 6th gear. Several people said it was a programming issue. Well we spent over $200 and it didn’t fix the problem. And there is NO codes at all to tell us what the problem is. Does anyone have any ideas what’s going on? Could the VB be defective?

If there are no codes and you had the correct IP Chars programmed into it immediately after replacement, that sounds like a defective VB. If you replaced it but only had the correct IP Chars loaded after it started to slip, it's probably dead because you killed it.
