2008 silver Altima Coupe 2.5L riding on stock wheels.

Should I get 18" or 20" rims and tires? I want a smooth, quiet ride and yes, I will be lowering the car because I don't want the big gaps. I'm just a regular driver and I don't drive everyday.

I don't know much about wheel / tire size and all that jazz, so I am looking to you guys for help.

Any advice and help is appreciated in my future rims/tires decision. :D

Depends on what size tire you want, more tire, less tire and offset and width. Stock offset is +45. Stock tire size is 235/40/18 I believe. My XXRs were 18x8.5 +35 and it was still inside the fender with 245/40/18 tires. It only rubbed when I lowered it. I think depending on tire size 20x9 have no issues depending on drop and tire size.

If you want something more aggressive it will involve fender rolling and maybe camber adjusting parts. Most people avoid pulling fenders. The way the fenders are it's tough to get an even, nice pull.

Post AlexM. wrote that's a real good guide. There's another one on here about offsets, but I can't find the link.
