Google searches have not been useful, regarding remote-start...

Family member bought an '18 Kicks, from Carvana... don't start.

Vehicle has start/stop button... toss the keys in the well, push the button, car starts. Ok, remotes came with dead batteries... Carvana. Dealt with that.

Both remotes when delivered have 3-button remotes... lock, unlock, panic.

How do we identify if vehicle has remote-start... without a remote-start remote...?

Going by the remote FCC ID, we've identified multiple remotes (and are expecting to find more...!)...

Nissan: lock, unlock, panic
Nissan: lock, unlock, trunk, panic
Nissan: remote start, lock, unlock, panic
Infnity: remote start, lock, unlock, trunk, panic

We just want to know...

Is remote-start standard with push start/stop? If so, we'll find a remote.
Is remote-start optional with push start/stop? if so, dealership, have it turned on, and find a remote.

Just need to know.. yay, nay, either way.

Thx!!!

Which trim level do they have? If it's the 'S' (base) model, it does not have remote start.

Good/bad news... grateful for data, yet it's an S... sounds that "Nissan Intelligent Key™" is the option.

Well, they'll just have to go out and start their car in the winter... :)
