A lot of G's came with Bridgestone Potenza 225/40-45/18's.maxnix wrote:225 is a little narrow, but 235 should work.
Are you sure about the offsets?
Really?96Qowner wrote:G50 Wheel Fitment Options (picture thread)
I think he sprayed them.qship96 wrote:Damn those wheels look filthy!
Intentially? Must have been going for that Robocop look!maxnix wrote:I think he sprayed them.
Are you saying my Q looks like an '87 Ford Taurus?!?!qship96 wrote:

I bought rims from a coupe and they are in fact 18x8 all around. Two are stamped REAR and two are stamped FRONT, but I couldn't find a difference between the two sets.miata007 wrote:If the wheels come from a sedan G35 (not sure about the new 07), they are all the same. If it comes from a coupe, they are staggered.

Not many people are conversant enough with tires and their suspension to understand that.DoinkMobb wrote:It doesn't really make sense to stagger the tires on a stock Q, because it already has a tendency to understeer.
Yes! The offsets were 30 and 33mm, although the widths are the same, as I recall, for those years. The 2008 model year may have gone to the same offset, but then what would be the point of marking them different from front to back?miata007 wrote:If the wheels come from a sedan G35 (not sure about the new 07), they are all the same. Okay. I'm in.DoinkMobb wrote:

The tire sizes on a stock G35 coupe are staggered, but the rims are not. Front tire size is 225/45/18, while the rear is 245/45/18.
Exactly.TgduMg wrote:... The front and rear seven spoke 18x8 2003-07 G35 Coupe wheels all have an offset of +30mm.
Two were stamped "front" to assist tire installers with getting the staggered tire sizes of 225/45 and 245/45 on the cars correctly.
But a RWD car looks so much cooler with huge tires on the back, everybody knows that.maxnix wrote:Not many people are conversant enough with tires and their suspension to understand that.
