Just bought some 18x8 Infiniti G35 Coupe Wheels for my new Rogue!!

I need to save up for some tires, so it will probably be a few weeks before I can get them on, but in the meantime heres a Photoshop Preview:

I was planning on getting some H&R Springs also and dropped the Rogue in this picture. I also deleted the roof rails because mine is an S model.

Bronze Rims

Silver Rims

What do you all think?

Hey it looks pretty nice when its dropped! I didn't think it would! Anyways is the handling going to be better once you put the springs on?

I likes it!!! Those wheels will look great on your car! I think they'll look especially good in gun metal or gloss black for your venom red Rogue.

I've been waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting for H&R to start making those springs. It'll look WAY better riding 1.4" lower.

The handling should improve as long as an alignment is done after the springs are installed to make sure camber is what it should be out back, as center of gravity will be lower. There will be less roll, less dive and less squat.

Did you consider the rear spoiler?

Venom_Rogue, I like it alot. I think it looks great. EddNog, I also love your Rogue (I'm jealous of how great it looks, it's really starting to come together eh?). Well I was also looking into some new wheels. Since I got my Rogue, always thought the gap between the tire and the wheel well was way too huge! I love the way the Infiniti FX35 looks, and really like the wheels. Since Venom_Rogue ordered G35 wheels, I'm guessing that the bolt pattern maybe the same on the FX35 as well? I also think the overall stance of the Rogue is a bit boxy and upright; dropping it would help...so any clue on when the lowering springs/kits will be available and through who? And one last question (since you two, Venom_Rogue & EddNog, seem to be very active on this forum and very knowledgeable on vehicles, and I'm not)...I really don't like how sunk in the wheels are from the wheel well. I don't want them sticking out like an impala with daytons or a jeep, but would like them flush or even more than they are now. Any clue on doing that without damage to the drive terrain? Recommendation on wheel/tire size (and yeah I did see the table on the forum, by the way thanks for that...don't remember who quite did all that work and put that up) that may help the looks? Any info would be awesome and very appreciative. Again, EddNog...I'm jealous of your amazing ride & Venom_Rogue...looks like you will have an amazing ride yourself! P.S. Not on wheels/tires, but anybody know if chrome/silver door handle covers for any other vehicles will fit our Rogues...my black handles are so scratched up :+(

I plan to keep it very simple:

1. Wheels- 18" G352. Factory Spoiler3. Painted Side mirrors (Im a base model)4. Chrome Front Grill5. H&R springs6. Paint brake calipers Gold7. Chrome Exhaust Tip

I've also been toying with the idea of eyelids for the headlights

Hey Venom_Rogue..Sounds great! I got an idea for you that I am halfway through doing (halfway because I haven't had much time lately), but I de-badged the rear on mine like: kind of like EddNog, but I'm replacing the Nissan emblem above the license with the R O G U E letters. I think it would look sweet, different, and classy....and let's hope so. I thought you may be into it since you posted a pic of that red Porche, and I know the Cayenne has a similar emblem position. Let me know what you think! EddNog, you too!

Thats not a bad idea at all....let me see if i can photoshop something tonight.

I like looking at other cars for inspiration and I really think you are on to something.

As far as the "sunk" wheels go, this is all dependent on offset of the rim.

As you can see if you decrease the offset closer to zero or negative then more the the rim will "stick out". This will allow you to get wheels flush with the fenders.

Venom_Rogue...I am so diggin the last photoshopped pic. I think it truely looks amazing, expecially with that exhaust. And I think that putting nissan above the plates rather than rogue would be a better choice, I guess because it has a wider placement across the hatch. But yeah, I'm really diggin it. I really appreciate you doin that.

I'm not a fan of all the new wheel sizes but its probably because I'm old school.

I do however like the custom exhaust and would like more into on it. Email me the details and let me know how it changed your fuel economy. Thx.

My photoshop skills must be getting better! This is all experimental thread, I altered all the photos above to get an idea of how we could potentially style our cars. I took the idea of the exhaust from the Lexus LS460 rear.

The SER wheel is 17x7 +50 offset and would sink in the wheels an additional 10mm...so it would not be a good choice for wheels.

for reference the stock Rogue Alloy is 17x7 +40

Or Altima SE-R wheels. Nice lightweight forged aluminum, 18x8 +45:

Or Nismo Wheels which I believe are made by Rays Engineering (Volk) and are available in Altima fitment, 18x8.5 +45 in silver or bronze:

What can I say, I'm a sucker for simple 5 spoke wheel designs.
