18" Dunlop All Season Radials !!!

Discussion of Infiniti's amazing (and underrated) sport-luxury crossovers, the EX35 and EX37. For 2014, the EX series will be renamed QX50, in line with Ininfiit's new naming conventions.

Dunlop makes some great tires (Wintersport M3 or 3D for example). This isn't one of them. Wear and dry handling are OK but wet handling is terrible. Be careful in the rain/snow.

Rotate them often... you might get a little more life out of them, that way!

I'll keep that in mind but how do these 18" Dunlop All Season Radials perform in wet and snowy weather ?

Are they good performance tires in general ?

Do a Search on "TIRE" and then "TIRES"... and you'll get a lot of information.

Me, I'm OK with with the Dunlops and will use them year-round. That being said, they don't seem to have a long tread-life... and will soon be swapping them over to Michelins, once the Dunlops wear out.

Then there is another group of people on here, that use the specialty Snow Tires for Winter-time use.

Do a Search... and then decide which way you want to go. This is a subject that has been beat to death.

The main problem I have with the Dunlops is that they are square (have a flat spot where the bottom way when parked) when you first start out after the car is parked over night. It takes about 2 miles of driving for a vibration to go away. After that they are OK... not great, but OK.

Mmmm... don't notice that.

Is it because I have a Garage ?

Does that happen all year-round ?

Went through last winter in T.O. These tires are terrible in the snow. Got stuck in the driveway twice last year. Have purchased winter tires this year.

So in a AWD Car, on a Driveway... these crappy Dunlops can't get you at least down the Driveway?

You guys in the East must get a totally different kind of Snow then we do over here.

Yeah, the Dunlops are s*** in the snow.

I got snow tires because the Dunlops are no good for anything but drifting through the snow.

This is bad news. Why Infiniti uses Dunlop, to save cost? How about customer satisfaction.

I ordered one to come to NY state in mid-Dec w 17'' tires (instead of 18"). Any chance I got Michelin? I was praying for M.
