Will these fit? I'm thinking 235/40 in front and 255/40 in back. I'm a bit leary of that 17mm offset but with the 9" width, that may be about right. I'm also not against doing a little fender rolling to make it work. I know they're cheap rims, but I like them because I live on gravel and if one gets rashed bad or bent, I'll just buy another rim or two and toss the old.

Think +38 - +40mm will work better.

Correct size tire would be 255/45-17.

I can tell you that 18x8.5 w/33 offset and a 245/45 tire wants to rub on the outside, me thinks an offset of 17 would be even more likely to rub, unless you do some serious rolling, pulling or heavy NC (negative camber).

17mm offset will stick out under the fender for sure. Unless you like that look, I'd recommend not doing it! And, you will probably need to roll your fender to avoid contact.

Ahhh well, I'll find some good cheap 9" wide rims that fit eventually. I dunno tho, I kinda think the black 5 spoke mustang wheels would look pretty good on my dark green Q.

I've been looking for some 9" or wider 17's or 18's for awhile and have had no luck ... well there was one set, but I'm looking for a deal.

There may be some "3rd link" or other front suspension issues with 9's up front, but it's ahrd to say for sure without know what tire you'd ahve.

Wes' old OZ's would rub (very) slightly on the front (inner obviously) suspension, but he was lowered. I wonder if they rub now on redmanfx's ride? Or what tire they each ran/are running?
