okay, I been doing some research and I want to make sure this is correct.

I have stance gr+ pro coilovers. The car is s13 hatchback

I have a fender roller ready to do the dirty work.

17x9" +15 front with 235/40/1717x0" +12 rear with 255/50/17

does that sound good to you?

tires sound kinda monsterly. i would run a 225/40 up front with a 245/40 or a 235/40 out back. but thats me.

I have the same rims, but mine are 18x8.5,and 9.5 in the rear. (not sure of offset though) the tires on the rear rub the coilover, I was pissed, wheel spacers should do the job. just make sure the rims dont rub the coilover first, then if the tires are to fat to sit under the car, i guess ur ganna have to roll them. if its all good, itll have a nice fffata$$ stance.

Are you sure about that 255/50 for the rear? I hope that was a typo.

I had the same set-up but I went with 235/45s' the next time I got tires.

When I ran 235/40 up front but the ride quality was sh*t and those reflector things on the highyway when changing lanes sounded like my suspension was being ripped out from underneath the car.

Plus with 235/45 - 255/40 your overall tire diameter and sidewall height front and rear are pretty much as even as they are going to get. However to make that statement more true you would actually need to run a 265/40 out back and then sidewall and tire OD would be damn near perfect but good luck finding that size. They make that size but only 3 tire companies carry it and lowest price was about $160 a tire.

I will take pics of my car tomorrow and show you what 235/45-255/40 looks like.

When this gets done, I would love to see a couple of shots of the rear wheels in relation to the fender. I am a little hesitant about that 12 offset. I have a 9.5 at +20 that sticks out a good inch. With a 245 40 and a little neg. camber, and a lip bending, I have just enough clearance. I am still looking at the 17x10 +25 myself. Its easier to go out with a spacer than come back in.

Run a higher offset in the rear. +12 is way too low for an s13 with 255 tires on 10" wheels. That fitment would require 20mm overs.

+25 is the next offset down on 10's for the FN, those tuck nicely on an S14 with just a fender roll so you should be good on an S13.

I'm planning on running the exact same setup on my s14, i think with a little roll and pull you would be ok with a +12 since you already have the fender roller, and yea to go with the 45 rather than the 40 would make for a better ride. On a side note i noticed that you're from rowland heights and i was wondering where you got your fender roller or if i could rent it off you?

okay... so now I have 17x10" +12 rear with 255/50/17 in hand

17x9" +15 front wheels only with no tires

245 is not in the size I want for the brand I want

should I go back down to 235? or go with another manufacturer so I get 245??

yes... I meant I have 255/40/17

I paid for 235/40/17 but it's not in stock, I been convinced by phase2 too that the ride quality change is minimal but the height might have some clearance issue if I get 45 instead of 40. Think I should wait some more? The 45s are in stock now. 235/45/17 vs 235/40/17

trust me dude, just wait a lil.. youll be more happy with 40 A.R than 45 since you have coilovers.. you would want 45s had you no coilovers.. just wait for em to be in stock..

Yes. You would need a lot of camber and fender work. Do-able, but work none the less.As for the tire size, wait for the 40 series. Or try sourcing them from somewhere else. A 235/45 would be kinda big.
