just wondering, ive got a stock bodied coupe and some bbs rc 090 wheels, car has a wider s14 subframe in the rear, what size tires do you recommend? car is lowered on maxed out tein basics. i was thinking 235/40 front and 245/40 back but wanted others input.
any suggestions are appreciated, thanks

Anything from a 215 ( bit of a stretch but not to bad) up to a 245 would be fine on 17x8.

Depends if you want stretch or not. If it were me, Id get 205 or 215 max.

What he said ^^^ I have 8.5"s with 215 45 17 on the front and it is just about perfect for me ( im maxed out in the front as well) very little stretch. Ill try to find a pic of what a 215 looks like on my car so you can get an idea of what a 205 would be on a 8" wheel

i tried on some 255/45 today because thats what was on the rims, too wide wouldnt clear the QP, went to a 235 and it was close, i think im gonna go with 225/45 all around

i dont necessarily want stretch, but i dont want to run camber, and i dont want to rub the QP

This here is good info, stretching is for virgins.

Sorry about the crap pic but as you can see that is a 215-45-17 on the front of a 8.5" wheel. Just to give you an idea of what a 205-215 would be on an 8"

That's it!! My wheels are 17x8 +23 and I have those tires. I put 245/40 in the front and tires were hitting fender liner which I still have. 235/40 is max you can put in the front. I used to have 235/40 in the rear, but switched to 245/40. 245/40 looks much better if you care about that. I rolled my rear fenders though.

my quarters are rolled, but even the 235/45 rubbed due to the wider subframe. im kind kicking myself now for thinking it would be cool to have an s14 subframe in the car
