hey i just picked up a set of sportmax 962's in what im guessing it 17x7 and 17x9, and the guy i got them from said he wasnt running coilovers in the front , only the rear, so i was like hmm, and thought nothing of it.

then later that day someone said i couldent run coilovers in the front with that size wheel and that offset, i think its a +38....

im here to just find out if that true and why?? and what size spacer i should run if i cant run that...

heres a pic for fun

I use to have 962's and I can't say 100% for sure but they barely cleared the springs/struts I had. I would guess no without at least a 5mm spacer.

but arent coilovers much smaller then regular shocks and struts with that huge *** bottom plate thing?

and do you think the 962 would rub w/o a fender roll?

won't need to roll the fenders with those offsets....
