I came across these set of wheels and for what I paid for them and they look great on my s14, the only problem is they are a +42 fwd offset

I have never seen another set on an S14 and I really want to keep them. The rears fit fine, but the fronts hit the front struts. What kind offset would be optimal for an S14.

Here is my current setup:17x7 +42 Rays United Arrow's S-05 Eurostars225/50/17 tiresTein S-Tech'sKYB AGX's

What I don't want to do...Run crazy cambersPull fendersRoll fenders

I want something that is kinda flush, but hella flush is not that important to me. To keep the fronts from rubbing is what I want.

So... S14 guys with 17x7's, what offsets are YOU running?

Thanks!

Joe

if your going with a 7 inch wheel, an offset of 0 would be optimal with a 205 tire. But given that your running a 225/50 (which is too tall of a tire anyways... should be a 40 or 45) you would need a 10-15mm spacer to keep the tire nice and flush to the fender (I'd go with 15mm). This way you can avoid running any camber or doing any fender modifications.....

Thanks for the info! I thought this would be a dead thread. BTW PM on those spacers you have for sale.

Right now just to test fit how much clearance I need for the fronts. I have a 1/4" and 1/8" spacer stacked on each other. This has given me 3/8" or 9.5mm more offset changing the fronts to a +33.5 offset. So now the fronts do not rub, but there is still more room to get them out further towards the fender.

After doing some more measuring, I think a 15mm spacer up front (+27 offset) would be ideal and a +25mm spacer (+17 offset) in the rear would give me the look I want.

Does anyone have any pictures of an S14 with 17x7's with those offsets listed? Or any other 17x??? with a comperable offset to a +27f +17 rear? Thanks! I can't wait to start driving this car again! It has just been sitting in the driveway watching the Subaru have all the fun.

its a shame my dad jus left for Taiwan with our digital camera.... cause I am running 17x7 wheels with a +40 offset and 215/45/17 tires all around. I run a 15mm spacer up front and a 25mm spacer in the rear (the rear has alittle negative camber and the inner fender lip has been trimmed so the wheels tuck in real nicely). Its a real shame.... lets just say it looks real good
