so i have a set of SA3R's (4 lug) 17x7 front 17x8 rear. im not 100% sure what the offset is but i do know it doesnt fit in the front. im guessing its a +32mm or +35mm. i still have stock strut/springs and it wont clear the front. i have some spacers but seems like i need way thicker spacer+extended studs which would make them stick way out...owhat are my options to get these wheels to fit my S13?

i think the easiest/cheapest solution would be to get a bolt on wheel spacer.... anyone know what size is needed to clear the stock strut on at +35mm offset? would like to get the smallest spacer needed

well i had 18x7.5 +45's on mine for a while...if you have 7 wide + 35, you would actually have 16mm more space than i did, and mine cleared (barely, but cleared)

problem with your struts maybe?

im no wheel expert, but i know that much!

there must be something wrong with your struts man, or your offset is off.17x7+35 will most definitely fit. look like crap, but will fit.

im gonna try to put them on again today or tomorrow, i was being rushed the other day. im pretty sure they are +35mm

so basically im wondering if 17x7+35mm should fit the front on an S13 with stock struts? the stock struts are pretty big..if i need a spacer whats the smallest i need?

dude i've told you three times now. they will fit. for sure. i've fit wheels with worse specs than those. on an all stock car. s13 as well. if they dont fit, something else is wrong on your car dude.

unless you have some ridiculous tire with a 50 to 60 sidewall. mine had 45 and fit.

50 is only 10mm bigger than my sidewall at most (it was either 40-45, dont remember off the top of my head)

but my wheel diameter was also 18inch and not 17.1 inch = 25.4mmmeaning you should still have 5 more mm of clearance.

i dunno man, its hard to see without looking at your car. put the wheel on as much as it will go. the amount of space left over is how much spacer you will need. go a little bit bigger to be safe.

any way you can check or can someone else confirm if the 45 will fit? i got a line on a pair for cheap right now, just want to be sure? or else i might hold out for a 40 series?
