Hi, I am getting close to 175k miles on my I30 and was wondering what kind of maintenance I should do. The car runs pretty well although it is a little tough to get it into "drive" sometimes, it's like the shifter is stuck. Besides that, it is in good shape and I want to do whatever preventative maintenance I can. Thanks.

Change/flush all the fluids, especially the ATF. Add a bottle of Lubegard Red (not Black) ATF Protectant after the service. Add a bottle or two of Redline SI-1 or Gumout Regane (not regular Gumout) Fuel System Cleaner to the fuel tank. Clean the entire air intake - check/replaced air filter, clean MAF sensor and TB and if you have time, the IACV. At what mileage did you replace the spark plugs (OEM last @ 105K miles)?

If you used OEM plugs, that should be good for @ 100K miles. Your car has DIS (Distributorless Ignition System) and does not use spark plug wires, instead, individual ignition coil is used for each cylinder.
