sup nico,

I just got a good deal on sportmax 17 x 8 , 17 x 9 , with 38 offset all around.now im about to purchase some spacers to go with it but had some concerns.

i want the best looking, widest stance possible without rolling in the rear. i dont care about the front b/c i have s15 front conversion with wider fenders.

i was thinking just getting H&R 15mm spacers all around and make it 23 offset all around, but i would like to know what fellow NICO members suggest.

THX!

40mm front and 25mm rear. that should be +2 & +13 os.

A 17x9 +13 is going to fit in the rear without a roll? I dont think so.

if youve already got the front fenders you need to roll the rears, otherwise youll never be able to match fitments

how wide are the front fenders? 20mm? if thats the case there arent spacers big enough to make that sit right...you shouldve gotten stock fenders for the front

i don't expect it to sit right b/c of the front fenders but i just don't want my rims to sink into my wheel wells. yes they are 20mm in front, but eventually i will put wider rear fenders on but now i just want these wheels to sit semi flush.

on a side note, why would you want bigger spacers in the front then the rear??don't you want the rears to sit further out then the fronts on RWD especailly on staggard wheels??

you want bigger spacers in front because youve got 20mm more fender that youre trying to occupy, thats 20mm more spacer youll need for the wheels to be flush

also the different widths mean with the same offsets (and effective offsets from spacers) the fronts would be 13mm sunken from the rears because of the different widths, youre trying to compensate for that too

overall id say youre best bet would be a 2 inch front and a 1 inch rear
