i had these wheels on a long time ago. they were 17 x 7.5 with a 40 offset 5 zigen typhoons. the reason why i got them was becsue i got 4 for only 800 bucks with tires shipped.

now i'm really unhappy with the way the wheel sits. so i see these 1 inch spacers for sale on ebay that doesn't require me to change to longer wheel studs.

so thats 40 mm with a 1 inch spacer so thats 40- 25.4mm = 15 mm offset.

so do you guys think it will fit without rubbing?

thanks.

yeah it'll fit..but I wouldn't put them on, period. spacers, especially over 10mm are horrible things to do to your car, its hubs, etc..

do it right the first time, get more propper wheels. DOn't band-aise something (especially just for looks) with something that can have negative reprecusions like that.

please search around about spacers and clearance issues, and check the FAQ. this is locked.-CHet

ignore chet. theoretically, yes, they can add a ton of stress to the bearings, but we don't drive Z32's, FC's, etc. People in Japan have been running spacers on S chassis since before your cars odometer reached 5 digits.

however.anything bigger than like 5-7mm spacer (unless it's a bolt on), you need long studs. If it's a bolt on, then haha, whatever.
