Will a set of 5Zigen Copse wheels size 17 x 7.5 +43 offset with 205/40/17 series tires fit my S13 hatch with D2 coils?

Yeah, I thought so, the guy selling them drives an 02 Civic. The only other offset they are available in is +35, would this work with spacers?

I got 17x7.5" 30mm gram lights, its a perfect offset for the car. 5zigen wheels are heavy....I dislike them, except the FN series.-chet

With 15x7 +30 and GR6 coilovers I have less than 10mm clearance on front

I have 17x7.5+30 in the front of my S13 with D2 coils and they have about a fingers width between the tire/rim and coilover. I guess that would be about 15mm. Oh and they are pretty flush too.

coilover clearance also has to do with camber. I'm assuming you have little to no camber. the more camber you run, the lower your offset has to be to clear the coilover.

How is that so. In the rear I can see that, but if I adjust the front camber plates the coilover and rim both lean in. The distance between the coilover and rim does not change. Now if you use the adjustment/slot on the spindle bolt then I can see your point.

most coilovers have two ways of adjusting camber. The first, obvious one is the camber plate, but the upper hole on the lower mounting bracket will be ovaled out... this is where you adjust camber without camber plates, and if you adjust it there, the more camber you add, the less clearance you have between the coilover and the inner wheel lip.

I understand now. Yeah I left the oval holes in the lower mount as far positive as I could and then adjust with the uppers.
