nice rims you chose.steed77 wrote:Might also want to know the Rim width...
I currently run 205/45R-17
However I do have room to fit 215, I went with an A/S tire not available in 215.
Good choice, the 205/50 series looks fatty on any rim that is not Black, I went with blackalex5002 wrote:thanks for all of the feedback guys. I think I'm goin to run a 215/45 R-17
I would be more concerned with the weight of the actual rims.didier wrote:Keep in mind that wider tires will increase surface resistance and also Fuel economy. Sometime slower performance. I reckon 205/45/17 is your best choice for Versa.
Ditto. If you care about performance and gas mileage, you wouldn't be getting 17"s. Some 10 pound 15"ers with 195/60 would do the most for that. Wheels that lightweight are expensive though.NODES wrote:

If these rims are anything like my previous set I had terrible gas mileage, the added weight made the car very sluggish, going up small inclines the CVT struggled and RPMS were up towards 4000-4200 mark and there was no acceleration.Shad0wXCalibur wrote:

that is what my last set was, my new set weighs in at 16.6 lbs each.br4dysays wrote:my rims i believe weight like 28 lbs per rim...
