Ok guys, not much luck searching for this question so here it is.

92' S13 coupe, Eibach sportlines with stock struts. Thinking of 17x9 +20ish offset OR 18x9 +20ish. I have a 5 lug conversion ready btw.

Will these wheel sizes fit stock struts?

Thanks!Kevin

Yes, both will fit. You will need to roll your fenders though.

The only real differance will be sidewall height and the ability to clear big brakes. Obviously the 18" tires are going to cost more.

Thanks for your answer, You have a very clean hatch btw. I will roll the fenders soon. Right now I've got Z32 calipers up front. I was just concerned with the wheels rubbing/hitting the stock struts.

Now I just need to decide 17" or 18"s

Thanks for the comments, I just made a thread with some nice pictures from last weekend.

Youll be completely fine with strut clearance. I dont mind 18's, but alot of people think they look out of place on s13's. Broadfields car is a good example of a car that pulls of 18's with no problem.

There is never a "final word" on wheel fitment. The wheels you can fit are only limited to the risks you're willing to take, the time you have to spare, and the money you've got to blow.

You know, I've noticed some 18's look really good on S13's, depending on the picture perspective they almost look like 17"s. And other 18"'s look bad. Wonder why that is

Id say the things that affect this, in no particular order are;1) Wheel color2) Tire size3) Ride height4) Brake size

I tend to agree with you on that. Well like I say I won't be slammed with the sportlines, so I think I will take a chance with 18".

Been looking at my coupe for awhile now I notice the 17's on it now (4 lug Enkei RS5 with 215/45/17 rubber) thare's still alot of wheel well space. I'm thinking 18's can fill this up nicely.

Thanks,Kevin

These are the two 18 inchers I'm deciding about now.

Axis Hiro 18x8.5 +20

Enkei RPF1 18x9 +22

Opinions?

It's aztec red, kinda dark red. I do like the rpf1's, but definately a sucker for 5 star wheels.

WHA!? People think 18s look out of place on s13s? I've yet to see a bad looking s13 with 18s, but on the other hand this site is littered with bad looking s13s with 17s. BTW, I'd go with the enkies as well.

I hear what ya'll are saying, the problem is I'm notorious for being unable to make up my mind. To me they're both beautiful wheels, I am leaning toward the Axis though.

I know this is a bad pic, but the larger one on the Axis website is down. Would you believe these are 19"s?
