Just finished installing a body kit on my s14 and now i want a set of wheels that gets rid of the huge wheel well gap. I was thinking about 17x8 or 17x9 but the guy that i talked to about wheels said that i would have to use an 18 not a 17 or it wouldnt look right. I am going to lower the car 1.5 inches and i have 300zx calipers on the front. I would like to use a 17 for the obvious reason of saving money but i want it to also look right. Any suggestions? Thanks

it doesn't matter on the size of the rim between 17 and 18... what matters is the size of the rubber on them.. the over all height of the wheel with tire on is going to be the same...

you choose what you want and like

My biggest problem is i am having a hard time finding 17" wheels with a decent offset and in anything wider than 7". Seems like everyone is building for fwd only. What sizes are most of you running with about a 235/40 tire?

17 front18 rear

9 in front10 in rear

offsets are secretso are tire sizes.

all depends on your car settings.

shutup brian. you stupid turd.staggering is for lames.... or rich people.

i presume you have 4 lug right? check out the group buy on zilvia for some 4 lug wheels that have good sizes/offsets for a decent price, like 1000 dollars. i think they are buddy club p1's or one of their knockoffs. they have them in 5 lug too, but if you have 5 lug, find something else, all sorts of 5 lug wheels have good sizes.

heres something to remember:W >= H/2
