I have 17x7 wheels for my 93 240sx. I have seen 215/45 and also 225/40 on 17X7 rims. I am now looking for new tires and would like to go the widest possible. I think 225 might be pushing it, what do you guys think?

225/45/17 will work for 17x7 ... BUT, depending on your offset, it may rub against your fender or your suspension

keep the offset 40mm or less bro(at a maximum), 40mm was stock, and when you widen a rim, you dont want it to rub, so reduce the offset...-chet
