Remember, two years of these wheels, I believe 99-2000 have been recalled. Auction does not say which years. There are other posts identifying serial numbers for the recall. I would ckeck serial numbers with the sellor before bidding. This recall involves the center hub separating from the wheel. No fun!

We have put on many sets of those style wheels, I have seen only one wheel that had a harline crack, which in turn is the reason Infiniti placed the recall. After the wheels are replaced, the dealer has to wait for a short period(until the warranty claim is paid), then the dealer can do as they please with the wheels. The recall states to grind an area at the bead of the wheel so they won't end up in auctions, such as E-bay at a dramatically reduced price. Personally, when you have a wheel that is in question, the price you may have to pay if the wheel fails, is far greater than the savings you may have aquired. THINK SAFETY FOLKS!!! I sure wouldnt want to be the driver of a Q-45 at any speed and the wheel seperate causing harm to yourself, somebody else, or property damage!
