I have a 17 Rogue Sport. It's time for it's 1st oil change. Anyone know what oil filter wrench is best? Socket-type? Strap Type?

Thanks in advance

That sounds small...think we are taking about 2 different things. I'm asking about the cap style oil filter wrench that goes on a ratchet. Wondering what size is correct.

Because these cars have such a small filter I use a large set of these.

Which should be available at a local Walmart, Home Depot,Lowe’s, or auto parts store. Just be careful not to puncture the metal of the filter. It makes a mess when you do. When the new filter goes on it gets put on super hand tight. All filters have a rubber /plastic gasket when you take the old filter off make sure that gasket comes off with it and doesn’t stick to the engine. Putting the new filter on with the old gasket still attached is a big oil leak waiting to happen.

Whoops...forgot we were talking about the filter and not the drain. Just go with a smaller size spring loaded oil filter socket. I just bought a generic one from Harbor Freight and it did the job.
