I forgot to say i have 205/50/17 tires and have had no problems other than the studs have rusted alittle, but they would have with stock tires. If you though that you would have clearence problems you will not. Have Fun.

It is low, very low. I wouldn't feel it would be any safer to go any lower because at some points it is only 3-4" from my car to the ground and i would like to be able to go over my driveway curb.

Does anyone have trouble with tire rub or is the turning radius increased when you change the size of the tire??

As i said before I have had no tire rub. I would think that turning radius would be the same becuase your tires arn't go farther right or left. You can turn faster, but that is just 'cause i put Yokahama's (spelling) on mine. I can tell you though i think i should have gotton more tread 'cause it is easy to lose tranction in rain or snow in chicago. The joy of RWD. But in the dry they kick ***. Good luck.

That picture is very very dark. You obviously put it through PS, so put it through one more time and brighten it up a bit.

Nick.

P.S. Nice puppy, is it real? lol.

well..I got one question...WHY?I mean, its not like th wight distribution would necessitate two different sized rims....why do you want to do that?

plus, its harder to match tire sizes that way(overall diam.) and what sizes were you planning to run? a 265-36-18 and a 225-45-17?

I was planning on getting 17" ASA JS1 rims with Kumho tires. Probably 215's because that would be the least speedometer difference with that size.

On the S13 I think its the width of the rim that is more critical, I know someone with 19's on his S13.

As long as you get a 35mm offset you should be ok to fit Z32 calipers on without spacers, sadly I had to use spacers with my 17's.

If you read SCC's Techo Babble Section in the Sept. 2002 issue you will get a very insightful look as to how to pick rims for the S13. Well actually you will read to only have them say "forget it, a 17x7.5 with +43 offset fits the 300zx Brembo brakes...''
