Hey Guys,

I'm a newb here as well, have been lurking for a few days and have gotten a lot of great information so far. I've been looking around the forum for this (don't want to be redundant if it's already been covered a bunch) but I am wondering about aftermarket wheels for the Z32. I've been to TireRack.com looking at various wheels and have found that there are relatively few choices in 17" and a lot in 18".

My question is, on these cars do 18's look, well... ghetto at all? I am asking from ignorance of course, just wondering in my head as I have found in my experience that a 1" larger diameter wheel is usually a nice subtle change over stock, I just wonder about going +2". Are 18" what most people go with? Is there a profound difference in the ride quality going to that much shorter of a sidewall?

Thanks in advance!Scottman

Welcome to Nico!I personally think the 16's were a bit small to start with, I think the 18's are just right for the Z32, got and wheel styles in mind?

I like these 4 different models. The Wedsport model is the least costly at $349 each, while the BBS Air II is the highest price at $553 (a bit more than I want to spend really). I think i like the Wedsport and OZ wheels best... I don't know anything about Wedsport's reputation, but OZ definitely makes a quality wheel.

Wedsport TC005

OZ Ultraleggera

BBS Air II CK

BBS RS GT

The Z32 I am shopping for is black, BTW. FWIW, you can see from my choices that I'm in to a subtle look... I'm over 30 so the "pimp my ride" ghetto look just doesn't work for me. I like neat & clean with little flash

Welcome to NICO!

Have you considered a staggered setup with 17's up front and 18's in the rear? I prefer that approach on Z32 and run that on my car.

As for the wheels you mentioned, I recommend the Wedsports, they're awesome wheels.

Staggered setup would be nice on a Z32. I'd personally go with the Weds, but if were up to me I'd put out the money for Volks or SSR's.

Thanks for the input guys, it will probably be at least a few weeks before I order any but am trying to get a decision made. The BBS' are nice and I've always loved their wheels I just hate to spend SOOO much on wheels and tires... but, the wheels are something you hope to buy only once so I guess I can splurge a little.

18/19 stagger. 17s belong on stock bodied S13s. not trying to knock your car NSR, it's hot, no doubt. But IMO, a Z should run bigger wheels.

BBS RS GT's all the way. IMO don't stagger, 18's all around look really nice. If you must stagger, I would say 19 in the rear and 18 up front. I agree with whoever said the 17's wouldn't look like a huge difference.
